A lakeside garden with an infinity pool among the pines

Concept renders

Infinity pool · Timber deck

Render

Location: Kyiv region
Client: Confidential
Paving: Timber deck, stone pool surround, gabion retaining walls
Features: Infinity edge toward the lake, hydrangea terraces, sports lawn

The constraint

A sloping lot running down to a lake, with tall pines the client refused to lose and a level change that made every path a staircase.

The decision

The slope is held with gabion walls planted over with hydrangea, so the terraces read as planting rather than engineering. The pool is pushed to the edge with an infinity rim toward the water, the deck wraps the pines, and the top lawn is kept flat and open for sport.

The detail

Deck boards are cut around each trunk with a clear gap, so the trees keep breathing and the deck never lifts.
